I had the opportunity to attend Patrícia's and Cláudia's classes and it was a great experience. Their students seemed really confident and were involved in the activities. From those lessons I realised how important it is to create a nice atmosphere in class and how much students are able to produce if they feel comfortable and confident enough.

I sat in on Marcia Lessa's CEX1 class on Sat. mornings and thought it was absolutely great to see how well she handles structural, transformational and meaningful drills. That was a real lesson in dynamism for me. That's why I could not resist stealing such precious goods!

Sorry for being late :(
Weel, I 've observed Marcio's class with Basic 1 and Marcia's class with CEX2. So, I have to say that in both classes, I could see that there was a great rapport with the sts, just like also Marcia mentioned. In relation to Marcio's class, I could "steal" some of the activities that, in my view, lead to dynamism, such as: ping pong, the hw correction, and conversation, lots of it!

Finally I got myself connected to this blog !!! It´s getting really interesting in here !!!
I´ve observed Marcia Lessa´s CEX5 class and I was really amazed how well she got all the students involved in speaking activities!! Great rapport with students!!! The best one was " ask me" - where students had to ask her some questions - that worked, and I´ve already done it with my groups.
Looking forward to stealing more !!! xoxoxox

I observed Marcia Lessa's class (Basic 1) last month and I think it was great! I liked the way she deals with the questions in the book.Instead of just asking them, Marcia shows the questions on the board and asks sts to discuss in pairs. It's a good way of reducing our TTT and giving sts more opportunities to talk. I started doing the same! Thanks Márcia!:)
